When she was out her side required another 66 at run per delivery - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we are confident we can succeed."

Those words will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship should hear.

In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was in the semi-finals they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to ruptured tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the initial instance at an important competition.

So strong is her resolve, she later said she wished she had played despite the injury.

Yet even as she later admitted those injuries have postponed plans to retire, this tournament is expected to be her final tournament as skipper in 50-over cricket and she is yet to win a world championship as leader.
